All stolen vehicle posts must include the required details below.

These guidelines are non-negotiable.


Here is what's required.

Vehicle type, including colour:

Registration number:

Location stolen from, preferably street, suburb and postcode:

Date and time stolen:

Police report number:

Key identifiers, such as stickers, damage, wheels, roof racks, business signage or unique markings:

VIN number, if available:

Brief incident details:

For example: Unknown person/s gained entry to the home and obtained vehicle keys. Clothing, direction of travel, or other relevant observations may be included if known.

Photos:

Please provide 1-2 clear photos of the vehicle.

A third photo may be included if it is of the dashboard or other identifying vehicle features. This may assist our team when checking information across social media platforms.

Important safety notice:


Members must not approach a suspected stolen vehicle, follow a vehicle, confront any person, or take enforcement action. If you see a suspected stolen vehicle, contact Queensland Police immediately. In an emergency or if an offence is happening now, call Triple Zero (000). For non-urgent reports, contact Policelink.
